Here is my pictorial experience of the 24h Series at Le Castellet, held on the 6th and 7th of May.
My target is to give you a quick overview of the hectic hours I spent in the pitlane !
he GT3 is the 24 Series lead class, mainly populated by Mercedes... Like this one, proudly wearing the famous Gulf historic livery, and Nicolas Minassian as a 'guest star' within its lineup.
The frenchman got off lightly from a broken suspension in the very beginning of the race, and managed to finish in 8th place.
he German team Car Collection was entering not less than 3 Audi R8 LMS.
ere I am, embedded in the fury of the pitstops... Although the speed limit is set to 60 km/h in the pitlane, cars stop and start in a hurry, believe me !
hen the weather is not as sunny as usual, let's take benefits of the beautiful contrasts of the evening sky in Provence !

aahhhh, The dark night of an endurance race, torn by the engines thunder and the car lightnings... Sorry, I won't overplay the music of the 'magic night at Le Mans' (first of all because we are not at Le Mans)...
This time, it is now or never the opportunity to experiment pictures to reflect this unique atmosphere.
Technically, apart from the flashlight usage, I am afraid that there is no miracle : give priority to the brightest pits , take the tripod and increase the exposure settings.
he Scuderia Praha Ferrari 488 GT3 is surrounded by an unreal atmosphere !
he Czech team, Mugello winner and pole position here, will reach the 3rd step of the podium.
Please note the presence of a certain Eddie Cheever Jr (son of the 80's Formula One driver) in the cockpit.

Thus, it continues to gather victories, after Dubaļ and Red Bull Ring !
