ello,
'Les meules' ('Haystacks' in english) : this is how is entitled a series of impressionist paintings by Claude Monet.
The series features haystacks that were found in a field near the house of the artist, in Giverny, Eure.
The artistic interest of this series is to repeat the same pattern, to show the different effects of light and atmosphere over the days , the seasons, and the weather conditions.
Here are my own 'Haystacks' ...
Unlike what one might think, these haystacks are moving, moreover quite fast, and their field is located at the end of the 'Double Droite du Beausset', a famous curve of Le Castellet race track, during the 6 Hours Blancpain Endurance Race.
OK, this is not for sure a peacefull countryside... But the principle is the same than in Monet artworks. Within a unique spot, over time (summer dusk), the aims is to feel the variations of the fading light !
That's it, the night fell, and apart the timelapse below and few other exceptions, there is more noise on my sensor than anything else.
When nothing is good, it is always convenient to put the blame on the equipment... !
... Well, good bye, and see you soon for a next event !
